I’ll explain here for a moment how the extension Text works under Multimedia.

Most settings are self-explanatory.
With the extensions not only simple texts can be displayed, but also much information the date, the time, the CPU-Load, etc.
However, most of these features require Performance to be enabled.


DATE_TIME

[DATE_TIME|FORMAT]
[DATE_TIME|FORMAT|OPTIONS]

Display of date and time.

FORMAT:
All possible formatting options can be found here https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qdatetime.html#toString
Possible is for example yy.MM.dd or hh:mm.

OPTIONS:
Here the date or the output can be formatted. This is optional we do not need to be specified
To manipulate the time
YEAR+1 increases the year by 1
MINUTE-30 turns the time back by 30 minutes
LOCALE=en_US prints the format in German


MEMORY

[MEMORY|DEVICE|TYPE]
[MEMORY|DEVICE|TYPE|FORMAT]

Get values ​​about memory status.

DEVICE:
Here you can specify either PHYSICAL or VIRTUAL.

TYPE:
What information you would like to receive (FREE, TOTAL, AVAILABLE or LOAD).
Important: Load works only with PHYSICAL!

FORMAT:
In what format will it be formatted.
Possible here: AUTO, B, KB, MB, GB, TB, PB, *EB *
The option AUTO adapts to the value and returns the best formatting.


HARD DISK

[HARD_DISK|PATH|NAME]
[HARD_DISK|PATH|CAPACITY |TYPE]
[HARD_DISK|PATH|CAPACITY |TYPE|FORMAT]

Get information about the installed hard disks.

PATH:
The path from the drive knows C:/

ART:
Which information you would like to receive (FREE, TOTAL, AVAIABLE).

FORMAT:
In what format will it be formatted.
Possible here: AUTO, B, KB, MB, GB, TB, PB, EB
The option AUTO matches the best value.


USERNAME

[USERNAME]

Returns the user name


CPU_LOAD

[CPU_LOAD]
[CPU_LOAD|Decimal places]

Returns the CPU utilization in percent

Decimal places:
Specifies how many decimal places should be considered.


IP

[IP|Surname]

Get the IP address of a network card.

Name: The name of the network card


SUBSTRING

[SUBSTRING|Text|From|To]

Get the sub-text of a complete text.

Text: The text from which the sub-text is to be fetched.
From: start position of the subtext
To: end position of the sub-text
